Adult Only Buildings may soon face extinction in Alberta

Having a Adult Only Building in Alberta may soon be a thing of the past.

If the Alberta NDP have their way with the new proposed legislation, buildings as of Jan. 1 will no longer be allowed to put in age minimums for tenants. This may be great news for families, but if you enjoy the peace and quiet of an Adult communities you may soon be sharing your community pool with children.

The legislation will also include condominiums but with a 15 year transition. The only exception will be condominiums with 55 plus.
